The first time you see something like a CCD at Vaishnodevi, you are surprised and amused. It somehow seems out of place. You get used to its presence on subsequent trips.

And then when you realise the rates are subsidised, so that everything costs 50% less compared to Delhi… that Ice Sparkle with Ice Cream feels doubly good!

Inexpensive and tasty Chinese food! The Lemon and Pepper Soup with Chicken Dumplings was healthy and fun. But their specialty -Tandoori Momos – was the star of a satisfying meal.

At Satya Niketan. Also, ample free parking.
